2021 Mourvèdre

Vineyard Notes

The warm site at McKinley Springs Vineyard in Horse Heaven Hills provides the perfect terroir for the Mourvèdre grapes which make up the backbone of this crowd-pleasing wine. Syrah which is also grown at this vineyard provides structure and complexity as well as length to its finish. Grenache from Lonesome Spring Ranch in Yakima provides some of the enticing fruit core to Mo as well as bolstering its acidity to ensure a healthy aging potential. Syrah from Stillwater Creek adds to this wine’s fruit-forward aspect. Mo can be drunk young or it can be aged for 6-8 years.
